New Cheers X Sanrio Molten Lava Mooncakes In Singapore Come In A Music Box, Lunch Bag & More

Mid Autumn Festival is almost here and it's time to be faced with an overwhelming number of mooncake choices once again! Amongst the sea of new mooncake launches in Singapore, the Cheers & FairPrice Xpress x Sanrio mooncakes stand out for both aesthetic and innovation.

This year, Cheers & FairPrice Xpress are launching three limited edition Sanrio-themed mooncake sets with Hello Kitty and My Melody mooncakes enclosed in kawaii packaging to match.

Revving up the temptation are the mooncake fillings! Besides the traditional lotus and yolk filling, some of the mooncakes have an oozing molten lava centre in unique flavours like Pandan Lotus Mango and Musang King Durian.

These mooncakes will be at an early bird discount price from 17 August to 8 September.

Beauty My Melody Lunch Bag ($58.80, U.P $68.80)

This set comes with a handy lunch bag in a charming bucket shape. It contains two molten lava mooncakes with My Melody patterns: Chocolate Lotus Caramel Lava and Pandan Lotus Mango Lava.

Hello Kitty Collector Gift Box ($79.90, U.P $89.90)

The Hello Kitty-patterned mooncakes in this set are individually packaged in little themed boxes and come in a stunning red gift box.

The four mooncakes are a mix of classic flavours and molten lava fillings: Bamboo Charcoal White Lotus Salted Egg Lava, Durian Lotus Musang King Lava, White Lotus Double Yolks, and Pandan Lotus Single Yolk.

Sanrio Odyssey Music Box ($125.90, U.P $139.90)

And now for the most extravagant one yet! This mooncake set comes with a pink music box that has Hello Kitty & My Melody on a space odyssey in a rocket ship. It also comes with six pieces of postcards and envelopes.

This set has four mooncakes with alien spaceship patterns: Dynasty Amber Walnut Mooncake, Meteor Wave Cherries Mooncake, Royale Dark Musang King Mooncake, and Shang-moon Emerald Lotus Salted Egg Lava Mooncake.
