New Japanese-Themed Sky Dining Experience In SG Is Perfect For Private, Romantic Dates

It's a collaboration between Mount Faber Leisure Group and Japan National Tourism Organization to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Singapore-Japan relations - so what better way to satiate your wanderlust than this, right?

The Fly Me to Japan cable car dining experience will be available till 30 December 2021, and entails a 90-minute journey to and fro Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa.
You will get to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine while enjoying a panoramic view of the lush rainforest and stunning cityscape of Harbourfront - talk about a fairytale-like date night!

The menu featuring finest produce sourced from prefectures across Japan like Okinawa, Hokkaido and Shiga will make the experience even more memorable.
Get ready to be greeted with a welcome drink, appetisers and soup at the pre-dining lounge at Arbora Bistro before your dinner. Down the Sake & Yuzu Jelly Shot followed by Hokkaido Sea Scallops that are paired with fresh Sea Urchin and topped with a caviar of Sea Grapes. A hearty miso broth of Seaweed, Chicken Meatballs, tofu and vegetables will be served too. Before you continue your expedition, wash everything down with a refreshing Lime Sherbet palate cleanser.

You can also pen your wishes on a pair of bells before hanging them at Arbora Garden and ringing the Poland's Bells of Happiness. The bells are believed to bring double happiness to all who ring them - a great way to impress your date!
You will then be escorted to your cable car cabin decked out in Japanese-themed decals, where you will get to enjoy your main course and dessert. The ride will take you through two full rounds while you tuck into your choice of main - Grilled Japanese Omi Wagyu paired with silky Mashed Purple Sweet Potatoes and braised Daikon, or the Pan-grilled Eel with Cabbage and Soba.

End the meal on a sweet note with the Yuzu Panna Cotta served alongside a premium Sakura Leaves tea. As if this can't get any better, a glass of Kizakura Premium Junmai Sake will be included for the "in-flight" meal too.

A vegetarian menu is also available for advance booking, which includes Lightly Boiled Baby Spinach with Toasted Sesame Seeds, and Char-grilled King Abalone Mushrooms & Aubergine with a side of Sea Grapes.
