Customise Authentic Nike Sneakers In SG With Hand Painted Art Featuring Sailor Moon, Sanrio & More
The new Nike Air Force 1 '07 in pink is beautiful, but nothing beats having a pair of sneakers customised entirely for you, according to your style and preference.
Local artist Shixian, who is also an interior designer, customises authentic Nike sneakers with intricately hand drawn pieces featuring anime and cartoon characters. So if you are looking to get a pair of your own, now's the time to do so because there's already a waitlist!

The idea of adding pizzazz to mundane sneakers first came to Shixian when she was in university. She started out by watching YouTube tutorials and decided to kickstart her customisation business when friends prompted her to.
Shixian mostly did Japanese-inspired art such as waves and florals, but has since expanded her craft to drawing anime characters, which have been very well-received by Singaporeans.

Each pair of sneaker is intricately hand painted using leather paint, then protected with an acrylic sealant. The entire customisation process typically takes three to four weeks, and you will have to write in through a form with your ideas so that Shixian gets a grasp of the style you are going for.
She will also provide a digital mockup so you have a rough visualisation of what the end product will look like.

Customisations generally range from $350 to $550, depending on the complexity of the design. The prices include a brand new pair of Nike sneakers ordered to your size.
