For those who are new to this rising trend, here's a quick crash course: like its name suggests, magnetic eyelashes work by connecting the tiny magnets on the lash to the magnetic liner that's applied on the lash line. Removing the eyelashes involves gently peeling them off and cleansing with waterproof makeup remover.
Crafted from synthetic fibres, Glametic's waterproof lashes replicate the luxe look of mink and claim to stay on all day long.

They have a new range of Hello Kitty & Friends lash kits with designs featuring and inspired by Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Gudetama and Chococat.

Each kit (US$64.99, ~S$86.25) includes a mini magnetic felt tip liner and a pair of magnetic lashes packaged in little suitcases. That seems quite pricey, but considering each pair of lashes can be used up to 60 times, that makes each wear cost about S$1.43. That sounds fairly reasonable compared to traditional false lashes. Besides, most of us would be buying it for the suitcase!
It's also sold in a bundle (Sale price:US$95.98, ~S$127.37, U.P.: US$127.97) which comes with an additional full-sized coloured liner and a compact mirror.
