Household name, Tiong Bahru Bakery, known for its pastries baked with premium French ingredients has just opened its newest and seventh outlet at Fort Canning!
Tiong Bahru Bakery Foothills is housed in the former River Valley Swimming Complex, one of the earliest public pools in Singapore. Nestled in lush greenery, the new cafe is the perfect blend of new meets old, with swimming pool-themed decor complementing the elements left behind by the former swimming complex.

Tiong Bahru Bakery Foothills was designed to mirror a lodge in the woods, and the indoor area seats 75 comfortably around an island counter, while the outdoor patio seats 60. Go for the outdoor seats if you wish to be closer to nature!

Play a game of I Spy there and see if you can spot the donut floats and faux "pool rules" signs.

The open-concept kitchen at the Foothills outlet is also a first for Tiong Bahru Bakery. You can now admire the artisans hard at work behind the counter, handcrafting croissants that are freshly baked every two hours.

Tiong Bahru Bakery Foothills also offers an exclusive menu apart from its cult-favourites. Make sure you try the Sourdough Croissant ($4.80) served with a creamy and crunchy crémeux praline filling!

Go for the Picnic Bundles ($22+ for breakfast, $31+ for lunch) comprising a variety of bakes, salads and beverages to choose from, complete with a customised picnic bag and take-out TBB dining sets for convenience. Head to a nearby grassy lawn with the bundle and set a mat down for a relaxing picnic experience complete with fresh bites.

Beverages specially concocted for this outlet include the nostalgic Nutmeg Teh Halia ($7), a local favourite of ginger tea perfumed with nutmeg.
