Drinks With A View While "Floating" On Water At JW Marriott Hotel Singapore's Infinity Pool

Much like how immersing yourself in greenery can be healing, being around water also brings about a sense of calm and rejuvenation. But if swimming and getting on a boat seem like too much work, how about simply lounging around on top of water?

There's a hotel in Singapore that has a shallow swimming pool with furniture so you can relax while "floating" on top of water: JW Marriott Hotel.

Located a short walk from Esplanade MRT Station, JW Marriott Hotel is a luxury heritage-meets-contemporary hotel complete with stylish restaurants, bars, a fitness centre and spa. At the 18th floor is the Flow18 Sky Garden that has a sheltered swimming pool with a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline.

At one side of the infinity pool is a shallow pool with tables, chairs and daybeds where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the view while being surrounded by water. When photographing yourself at a certain angle with the right lighting, it creates a cool effect like you're floating on top of water.

Unfortunately, the pool is only available for hotel guests, so you'll have to book a stay there to enjoy this cool floating-on-water experience. While you're allowed to bring beverages to the pool, glassware and food are not permitted for safety reasons.
