There’s A New Bubble Tea-Themed Card Game In Singapore To Play With Your BBT Squad

Take your obsession with this milky beverage to greater heights with Teabbles, a new card game that’s centred around - you guessed it - bubble tea. Proudly made in Singapore, this card game is the brainchild of a local couple team and it’s perfect for playing during parties with your boba squad.

Using just one deck of cards, Teabbles can be played 3 ways. The first gameplay, Original Play, will have you competing to fulfill drink orders with a limited number of moves and cards, while gaining the most points based on the ingredients you have.

In Bluff, you have the choice as to whether you wish to make a drink using the correct ingredients or not. Ingredient cards are placed face down - giving you a chance to bluff your way through. Your fellow players have the option to call your bluff, but if they don’t, it means you have successfully created your drink.

If they accuse you wrongly, you get to keep your drink while they get penalised. But if you are found to be lying, you will have to forfeit that drink, while they get to choose any drink card from your stash.

In Boba the Builder, you will also be building drinks, this time via your own inventory. You can only use ingredients from your inventory - think of it as manning your own bubble tea stall. Well, it’s slightly more complicated than what we’ve briefly described, but you can check out Teabbles’ various instructional videos to gain a better understanding of this and all the other game modes.
