New Balance Singapore Is Opening A Pop-Up Retro Diner Installation With A Gumball Machine

New Balance has just announced a pleasantly unexpected gift for us this festive season, a new pop-up American-style diner installation with plenty of photo opportunities, free gifts and prizes!

The upcoming New Balance 327 Diner is inspired by and celebrates the New Balance 327, a reinvented sneaker that pays homage to the 1970s, an iconic era with a thriving fashion, architecture and design scene.

In line with the 1970s vibe, the installation will look just like a retro American-style diner filled with Insta-worthy spots. Bask in nostalgic feels in the midst of bright teal and pink, neon lights, vintage upholstery and checkered floors with a cheery New Balance illustration designed by local creative studio, Tell Your Children.

Unfortunately, this installation isn't an actual diner! There will be no consumption of food inside the diner itself due to safety measures. Instead, the food will be safely packaged for takeaway only. You can pick one holiday food from Apiary ( one of our picks of the best ice cream cafes in Singapore), Two Men Bagel or Windowsill Pies, to receive for free with a purchase of either the New Balance 327BTK (RSP $169) or the New Balance 327SFB (RSP $169) at the pop-up, available while stocks last.

Shoppers who purchase any colourway of a New Balance 327 at the New Balance 327 Diner, on newbalance.com.sg, or at the New Balance Bugis Junction and Vivo City Lighthouse and Experience Stores from 14 – 27 December will receive either a customisable tote bag or T-shirt. There will be an area for customisation of tote bags and T-shirts exclusively at the New Balance 327 Diner. Tote bags or T-shirts will be digitally customised and printed on the spot, instantly ready to be wrapped up and gifted.

There's also a gumball machine! A purchase of $200 at the New Balance 327 Diner or any New Balance Lighthouse and Experience stores entitles guests to one chance at the gumball machine to win gifts such as a New Balance water bottle, cap, socks, and a pair of 327 collaboration sneakers – Levi’s 327, Casablanca 327 or Aries 327 (with fixed sizes).
