One new attraction in Hong Kong to add to your bucket list is the new Sanrio X Verm City Climbing Centre.

Keep reading to find out more!

Located in the heart of Hong Kong, Verm City is the biggest rock climbing gym on the island catered to both serious and casual climbers.

In collaboration with Sanrio Hong Kong, they have transformed the Clip 'n Climb Park into a Sanrio-themed space that's a cross between a cute amusement park and a rock climbing gym.

There will be over 19 different climbing games including the Vertical Drop Slide where you'll drop from up to 6.5 metres and the Stairs to Heaven where you'll walk up and jump off from the top.

While you challenge yourself with these games, you'll be cheered on by Sanrio characters decorating the area including Hello Kitty, Bad Badtz-Maru, Pochacco and Pompompurin.

There's also an adorable dining area that looks just like a Sanrio-themed cafe.

If you're looking for a unique Sanrio souvenir, check out the adorable limited edition Sanrio plush dolls (from HK$160, ~S$27.72) each wearing a rock climbing harness. There will also be t-shirts (from HK$150, ~S$25.99) on sale.

There will be a mandatory safety briefing for all climbers and it's advised for you to wear comfortable sportswear and closed-toe shoes.

The Sanrio-themed climbing games will be up from 7 November 2020 to 7 May 2021. That leaves us quite a good period of time to plan our travels and perhaps in time for the travel procedures to get faster and more convenient.

Tickets are priced at HK$250 (~S$43.31).
