New Charlie Tea Store At Takashimaya Is Having A Buy-1-Get-1-Free Promo From 9 To 11 Sep

It's time to rejoice for bubble tea fanatics or those who love anything with tea because BreadTalk Group's newest tea concept, Charlie Tea, will be making its grand opening on 9 September 2020, which is tomorrow!

The first Charlie Tea concept store at Takashimaya is an 18-seater teahouse reimagined as a sanctuary to offer respite in the heart of, but yet away from the hustle and bustle of town.

The brand's tea leaves are hand-picked, curated and cultivated from the Fujian Province in China and Sri Lanka. The tea leaves are then "sun-kissed by Mother Nature, smattered with regular rainfalls, and boast crisp temperatures of up to 24 degrees" to achieve the best quality. The tea is then brewed at a precise temperature to enhance the full flavour.

Charlie Tea Signatures and House-specials

Sip on a range of artisanal teas to be enjoyed both cold and hot. The menu is based on the foundation of its Pure Tea series (纯茶系列) - Green Jade (an uplifting light-bodied green tea with an organic, earthy note), Mount Wu (a calming medium-bodied oolong tea with an intense roasted, nutty aroma) and Red Phoenix (a lively full-bodied red tea with a light and fresh citrus note).

Milk tea lovers can also take their pick from the lusciously fragrant Milk Tea (茶奶系列) and Pearl Milk Tea (珍丸茶奶系列) series.

Fruit Teas

Get your dose of vitamins with a wide selection from the Fruit Tea (果茶系列), Slushie+ (多多系列) and POP Tea (泡泡系列) series which feature fruit tea beverages in various forms - pure, cultured milk-based, sparkling and ice-blended. All of them are made with fresh fruits and fruit extracts.

Signatures include the Dragon Fruit Slushie+, an icy fruit treat blended with green tea and cultured milk and the Grapefruit POP, a refreshing grapefruit sparkling green tea with a hint of mint.

Cloud Series

The Yuzu Pink Cloud takes the spotlight with its sweet tang of yuzu ice blended with yuzu fruit extracts and pomelo bits, then topped with a smooth cream cheese foam with a blend of beetroot powder and a touch of Pink Himalayan Salt.

Sweet and savoury treats

Apart from beverages, Charlie Tea also serves sweet and savoury treats to accompany the tea offerings.

The menu includes an extensive selection of 12 flaky Danishes (脆丹丹), specially baked using French flour to achieve impeccable layers of crispiness. Choose from fruity Danishes like the Mango Danish to hearty Danishes like the Creamy Chicken Danish. Delectable Chunkie (大大系列) cookies are also available in five crowd-pleasing flavours, featuring Double Chocolate and Matcha White.
