The Middle Eastern-inspired decor at Saturn Landing Turkish Coffee isn’t purely for show, because the cafe does serve actual Turkish food. Many go there for the specialty sand coffee, which starts from TWD120 (~S$5.66).

Don’t worry, there won’t be any sandy residue in your caffeine fix. The coffee is made using a special Turkish technique, where the coffee cezve will be placed in sand to prevent over-brewing while retaining a rich flavour.

You’ll be able to watch this process happening up close at the bar counter, before your beverage is served in an ornate, royal-looking tea set.

While there, you mustn't miss their Turkish desserts like Baklava (TWD150, ~S$7.08) and Kunefe (TWD220, 10.38). These are pricier than your usual Taiwanese night market snacks, but very reasonable for authentic Turkish food, which is uncommon in Taiwan to begin with.

They also have mains like Indian curries for a more filling meal.
