Uniqlo's New Quick-Drying And Washable AIRism Mask Available In Japan From 19 June

Wearing a face mask upon stepping out of our homes has become a norm for us but it gets uncomfortable and stuffy after a while.

Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo has the solution to that with its newest AIRism face mask releasing in Japan on 19 June.

Uniqlo's unique AIRism technology makes the mask lightweight and quick-drying - all the things you would want in a face mask you have to wear for hours every day.

The mask is designed for ultimate comfort without compromising on its effectiveness.

It's made up of three layers - a filter with 99% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency to block droplets and fine particles, a non-woven cotton fabric with a silky smooth texture that stays dry even if you sweat, and a mesh material exterior that protects you from 90% of ultraviolet rays.

Available in three different sizes - S (width 190mm x height 115mm), M (width 230mm x height 140mm) and L (width 240mm x height 145mm).

The mask remains effective up to 20 washes and it's recommended that you wash it every day. Each pack comes with one mask per size and retails at 990 JPY (~13 SGD).

As these will only be made available in Japan on 19 June for the time being, get a friend who lives in Japan or a traveller to help. The brand has plans to sells the masks in its overseas stores too so fingers crossed that it will be available in Singapore soon!
