You may have seen He Ying Ying on TV this year and her megawatts smile is the bait for smile-suckers. Her fan club, Yingfinity, is relentlessly supporting this sweet dimple princess.

For all of you with a star dream, you will be delighted to know that opportunities are around everywhere! Ying Ying was scouted by mediacorp show, Hey Gorgeous back in 2015 while she was studying in NUS. She didn't sign up for acting classes or competition, she just loves to smile and that was it!

She didn't win the contest but she was awarded The Nicest Smile. Winning a competition is neither the goal nor the path to success. She proves that hard work and opportunities are what it takes to eventually make it.
Back in 2016, She was invited on NOT The 5 Show to talk about her first acting experience on Run Rachel Run where she acts as a young intern.
And her first Mediacorp drama role was Lin Lingling in Project W.

What kind of students are they?
In 2016 and 2017, she secured only 2 /3 acting roles each year. This must be her lucky year because at current, she is already involved in 6 dramas and of all 6, she is the female lead for 3 of them! That's remarkable. Again, she missed the award for Best Newcomer at 2018 Star Award but still, she's a hot favourite with constant collaborations.
