Lisa's former manager "A" had been with her since her debut with BLACKPINK in 2016 and because she's a foreign member who came to Korea alone at a young age, "A" was someone she relied on.

He told her he would use her money to help her invest in some real estate but instead of doing that, "A" took advantage of her trust and wasted all the money on gambling. It was reported that Lisa was scammed a whopping amount of 1 billion KRW!

Her management company, YG Entertainment, has confirmed the news and a report by Newsen stated that Lisa wishes for an amicable settlement as "A" was someone she trusted.

"A" has agreed to reimburse some of the money and the rest of the money will be paid back through a repayment plan. YG Entertainment also apologised for causing concern and said that "A" is no longer with the company. They will be working on measures to prevent such a thing from happening again.
