If you love all food that is 'molten lava', you might want to check out Phoenix Lava, a Thai molten custard lava bun speciality stall that serves buns filled with molten goodness! Some (yummy) flavours include DURIAN, SALTED EGG and... more!
Phoenix Lava opened their first outlet in Singapore on 5 July @ Raffles Place Xchange and according to their website, they are expected to open one more at WHEAT @ Marina One.
The buns are available in five flavours: Monthong Durian ($3.80), Salted Egg Lava ($3.50), Japanese Nama Chocolate ($3.50), Uji Matcha Culture ($3.50) and Japanese Sesame Charcoal ($3.50).
If you are a durian lover, you definitely have to give their Monthong Durian a try! Not only does it taste like durian, it is also SHAPED like one! How creative.
Here's how it looks when the molten lava bun 'erupts'~ *heart eyes*
While you can choose to buy the buns on an a la carte basis, you can bring them home in 5 assorted flavours too! $18 for a box of durians, $16 for assorted flavours.
