Even if you’re not into cosplay, the names Baozi and Hana might ring a bell. After all, they are two of the most famous male celeb cosplayers from China, and often make stops in Singapore for anime festivals and conventions.
They’re not just super skilled at doing their own makeup - they also have their own line of cosmetics called Flower Knows with some of the prettiest packaging. Recently, they launched a gorgeous new Unicorn collection, which you can easily get off their official Taobao store.

Perhaps the most sought-after of the lot is the Unicorn 5 Colours Eyeshadow Palette (CNY99, ~S$19.80). Jumping on the warm eye makeup trend, they’ve made most of the colours here peachy or brownish ones, which work well for natural looks.

That’s not to say that they are one-dimensional, because each shade differs significantly from the next, with a good mix of mattes and shimmers.

If you prefer your eye makeup to be more vibrant, there’s one particular palette out of the four that comes with yellow, baby blue, and pinks.

You’ll also want to get your hands on the Unicorn Liquid Lipstick (79CNY, ~S$15.80), which look like mini magic wands with their gold star toppers. Pick from 6 magical hues that will give your pucker a juicy-looking finish.

Add some colour to your cheeks with the Unicorn Blush (CNY109, ~$21.80), which comes in 6 shades suitable for various skin tones. There are even earthy ones for those who have darker complexions.

Finish it off with a quick dusting of the Unicorn Setting Powder (CNY159, ~S$31.80). We love how there’s a unicorn head on the rainbow-hued box, making it both extra special and easy to lift open. You’ll want to keep this pretty case to store accessories or other small items after your product runs out!

To feel extra princessy, treat yourself to the royal-looking handheld Unicorn Makeup Mirror (CNY79, ~S$15.80), which comes embossed with the design of a winged unicorn and stars.

Fret not if you’re not a Taobao whiz, because these cosmetics are also available on lolita store Devil Inspired which is written in English and ships to Singapore. However, we would recommend getting them directly from Taobao as prices are cheaper there.
