This slice of life series is about a chef called "The Master" who offers his customers help and advice for their personal challenges while they dine. Each episode focuses on a different character and usually offers some philosophical life lesson.

#2 Rilakkuma and Kaoru

This cute animated series follows the life of office worker Kaoru, her pet chick Kiiroitori and San-X's popular bear characters Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma.

Despite having a simple and lighthearted storyline, it still has some depth to it and watching it has a very relaxing and uplifting effect! The stop-motion gives it a cosy, sweet look while the little sounds like footsteps have an ASMR effect.

#3 Terrace House

Terrace House is a reality series where three women and three men who are all strangers are selected to live together. When someone decides to leave, a new member joins the house. The show claims to be unscripted and is a big contrast to the loud and overdramatic American reality shows. Seemingly nothing happens but yet it's very addictive to watch!

A 13-year-old witch, Kiki, moves to a new town and tries to live independently while being accompanied by a talking cat, Jiji.
