Joanne Tseng And Calvin Chen's Decade-Long Relationship Timeline
Taiwanese actress Joanne Tseng (曾之喬) and ex-Fahrenheit member and actor Calvin Chen (辰奕儒) are married!
The couple surprised fans with an announcement on both their respective Instagram accounts this morning, stating that they have tied the knot.

2009 - Rumoured to be dating

Joanne and Calvin were rumoured to be together back in 2009 after working together in the idol drama Love Buffet. However, at that time, the public speculated that it was just a publicity stunt to promote the drama.
2011 - Joanne seemingly confirms they were a couple
In an interview, Joanne revealed that she cried for a month after breaking up with Calvin, more or less confirming that they were once a couple.
2017 - New dating rumours

In 2017, dating rumours reignited after Joanne was spotted hanging out at Calvin's home, together with his mother and sister. Calvin reportedly sent her home after that and emerged from her house 30 minutes later.
But, Joanne denied the rumours when she was asked about it, reiterating that they "have been good friends for a long time".
2019 - Joanne denies dating rumours once again

Joanne held a press conference to promote her new book on 3rd January 2019 and remained tight-lipped about her real relationship with Calvin. When asked about the rumours, she said that "he has always been a good friend" of hers.
23 January 2020 - Joanne and Calvin's surprise marriage announcement
On 23rd January 2020, more than 10 years since their first dating rumours, Joanne posted a photo of herself and Calvin on her Instagram account to announce that they have gotten married!
In her caption, she shared that they have known each other for a long time and that "Mr Chen has seen [her] change from a young girl to a woman". From now on, she is "Ms Tseng and also Mrs Chen". She then went on to thank everyone for their support and love.
Calvin posted the same photo on his Instagram account and said that his life "has entered the next chapter". He also thanked everyone for their support and love and wished everyone a happy new year.
It seems like they are fated to be with each other but just had to take some time apart to mature and get back together when they are both ready. We wish the newlyweds a very happy and blissful marriage! ?
