There is a lot to explore in Seoul and we felt that 5D4N was too short for us! Here is a list of places we visited and did during our trip in Korea. Perfect for your first time in Korea.

Myeongdong Street

Myeongdong is a popular shopping paradise in Seoul, South Korea. It is a must visited place when you travel to Seoul! You can find many well-known Korean skin care and cosmetics products like Etude House, Laneige, Missha, and Innisfree! It’s also the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs as the hand creams and sheet masks are usually on bulk sale.

When you’re ready to take a break from shopping, you can easily find a nice cafe along Myeongdong to have a cuppa and cake. During the night, Myeongdong is also filled with street food vendors serving all kinds of Korean street food and  you don’t have to worry about getting hungry as you shop.

Namson Seoul Tower is one of Korea’s iconic tourist spots and a must-visit for that bird’s eye view of Seoul. Other than getting a 360-degree view of Seoul, the second floor features the Analogue Observatory, the Wishing Pond, Sky Restroom, Sky Coffee, and Photo Studio. The third floor is where you can find the Digital Observatory, the Digital High-powered Telescope, and a gift shop. You can also dine at the revolving restaurant on the fourth floor which rotates at a rate of one revolution every 48 minutes.

Everland Theme Park

Everland Resort is South Korea’s biggest theme park and it is located about 36 km from Seoul in Yongin City. Avoid the queue and buy your tickets in advance through Changi Recommends. Everland is huge so it’s important to plan your day’s route, especially during peak season. Start with the most popular rides and arrive as early as you can if you want to try most of the rides.

Nami Island

Located an hour’s drive away from the city of Seoul, Nami Island is the perfect place for anyone who wants to be away from the rapid city pace and just be within nature. Popularised by one of the most iconic Korean drama, Winter Sonata , Nami Island has been attracting many K-Drama lovers. Nami Island is definitely one of the destination to visit and there is no best time there as the island offers something special for everyone in every season!
