The 2019 TVB Anniversary Awards show was held yesterday on 12 January 2020 and the highlight was definitely Kenneth Ma's (马国明) win.

Kenneth won the Best Actor award for his performance in Big White Duel (白色強人), where he portrayed Dr Tong, the head of the cardiology department.
What made his win all the more special is that he was previously nominated 11 times and finally took home the award on his 12th nomination last night!
When the winner was announced, Kenneth was visibly surprised but the best part was how everyone genuinely looked happy for him. All who were present cheered, gave him a standing ovation and many fellow actors enveloped him in hugs to congratulate him.
In his award speech, he said even if he didn't win the award, he feels that he has "already won" because of everyone's immense support. Acknowledging the fact that there were many strong contenders for the award this year, he revealed that he was perhaps "lucky to have been able to act in Big White Duel".
