We know people don't usually associate the word "neon" with luxurious but hear us out. Neon lights are indeed insta-worthy decorations but the trick to nailing it is to choose one with a white light!

Forgo those pink, green or yellow neon lights as those belong in bars and not homes. Primp up a plain area of your home with a simple white neon light like the ones above.

Guests will want to take pictures near it and you can also take many aesthetically pleasing photos of food or anything you want near it too!

Marble-patterned decorations or furniture just instantly makes a place look atas! Since having real marble tabletops or flooring can cost a bomb, opt for marble-patterned furniture such as a coffee table instead.

It won't burn a hole in your pocket and makes a great backdrop for any flat lay photos of your favourite coffee, decorations or book!

Velvet feels good and comfortable to the touch while looking like it belongs in a palace at the same time, which is why furniture with velvet material are often regarded as luxurious.

We recommend choosing a velvet sofa in colours such as royal green and blue. Darker colours will give your home a pop of colour against a white or neutral-coloured wall.

Take note that velvet sofas are not as easy to clean as compared to leather for instance, so, make sure you use a soft clean cloth to remove debris and dirt from the surface.
