The observation deck stands on the rooftop of Shibuya Scramble, the tallest building in the Shibuya area with views of the Tokyo skyline where you can view the Tokyo Tower, Skytree and even Mount Fuji if the sky is clear!

The best time to visit Shibuya Sky is the period just before sunset where you can stay to see the sun setting and the night skyline of Tokyo. However, many people tend to visit during this period as well so you might want to go slightly earlier to chope the best spot for your photos.

Do take note that you cannot bring tripods up to the Shibuya Sky due to the strong winds and you have to bring a lanyard for your cameras. Bags and hats are also not allowed up the Shibuya Sky for the same reason but you can store your baggage in the lockers provided. Remember to bring a thicker jacket if you are going up during winter or at night as it will be pretty cold!

Shibuya Sky currently only accept reservations in advance and will only open same day reservation or at door bookings from December onwards. If you want to get tickets up the Shibuya Sky, we suggest you get it soon as there are very limited slots left especially for the prime timings.
