Not too long ago, we adore Princess Charlotte's sweet wave to the media before she meets her little brother.

And now, it's almost time for little Prince Louis' Christening.
Traditionally, a royal baby is christened two to three months after their birth. Prince Louis was born on 23 April, the christening will take place on 9 July at The Chapel Royal, St James's Palace, London. You can expect many more pictures on the royal babies.
What is Christening?
No, it's not a human sacrifice. It is a Christian ceremony similar to what is known as a baptism. It is to also give (a baby) a Christian name at baptism as a sign of admission to a Christian Church. The royal custom is for babies to be named after past or present royals, so we have:
Prince George Alexander Louis
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
Prince Louis Arthur Charles
Prince George's christening took place three months after birth, and Princess Charlotte's just over two months after she was born.
Look at how cute these royal babies are!
