Before you start on your makeup, put on some contact lens to get that dewy eyed look! For the beginners, the Jill Stuart 1 Day UV contact lens adds some subtle undertones to your eye without looking too over the top. The colours also enhances your irises to make them look bigger than they really are.
Here's a closer look at the colours available:
#Blue
#Green
#Pink
After you are done putting in your contact lens, it's time to start on your eye makeup! Scroll on to see how to get the big dewy eyes you always wanted!
Step #1: Brows
Fill in your brows with a colour corresponding to your hair colour. A straighter brow shape can help to enhance the roundness of your eyes as well.
Step 2: Eyeshadow
Use a light brown eyeshadow colour to fill in the areas highlighted in white. Remember to dust your eyelids lightly if you don't want to look fierce!
Step 3: Undereye Lining
Use a thin eyeliner or brown eyeshadow to fill in the part highlighted in white.
Step 4: Eyeliner
Draw in your eyeliner very close to the waterline with a small wing of around 100 degrees at the end.
Step 5: Contouring
Use highlighter or a shimmery eyeshadow to fill in the part highlighted in white and use a darker eyeshadow to fill in the part highlighted in black.
Step 6: Mascara
Brush on some mascara on your upper and lower lashes and you are ready to go!
You can get big, beautiful eyes too! For your eyes to look naturally bigger, try out these tips as well:
#1 Use mascara on your bottom lashes and put some eyeshadow under your eyes for a balanced look.
#2 Don't line your under eye close to the waterline! This will make your eyes look smaller and fiercer.
#3 Use falsies if possible to make your eyes look slightly bigger!
