#1 Sports Hub National Day Fiesta

If you are into sports and craft, don't miss out on this one day only event at Singapore Sports Hub! Other than workout activities such as the RED-X Challenge and Workout Lah!, there are also craft stations where you can learn screen printing, monogramming and wax sealing. Spend the afternoon there and join in the mass NDP telecast and family picnic by the Waterfront for a National Day like no other.

#2 Heritage Hurray!

Celebrate Singapore's shared heritage at the Heritage Hurray! at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Alongside the first Community Art Market at the museum, there will be an array of free activities such as Ang Ku Kueh and Kueh Lapis Vinyl Painting and Miniature Clay Sculpting Workshops. All participants of the Heritage Hurray! will also get a free NDP pack so you should definitely go down if you have time to spare!

#3 Singa-Paw Weekend Pets Carnival

Here's one for the fur-parents and animal lovers! ? Bring your fur-kids down as the first 100 paw-rents with their fur-kids will receive a special goodie bag. While you are there, take some photos with the colourful parrots from Flightmasters, shop for new pet products and let your fur-kid join a competition or two (Send a PM to their Facebook page to sign up!) For animal lovers without pets, you won't miss out on the fun as there will be a cats and dogs adoption drive as well.

#4 National Gallery Singapore

As the venue partner for NDP (psst, NDP is back at the Padang this year!), National Gallery Singapore will be offering free admissions from 11 to 12 August. Check out the exhibitions Awakenings: Art in Society in Asia and Lim Cheng Hoe: Painting Singapore and don't forget to take some extremely IG-worthy photos there at the same time! National Gallery Singapore will also be offering 50% off all admission tickets from 13 August to 31 August so it will actually be a whole month of celebrations!

#5 National Day Concert

With a strong line-up of local talents such as Jasmine Sokko, Kit Chan, Dick Lee, MICappella and more, you can look forward to two evenings of good music and good times. There will also be fringe activities such as an inflatable challenge for kids, craft corners, charge up zone and food trucks as well. Dress up in red and white and rock out with the rest of the crowd for two evenings!
