The movie is adapted from a non-fiction novel titled The Deepest Waters Are Our Tears (最深的水是泪水) by Chinese author Bao'er Ji Yuan Ye (鲍尔吉·原野). It tells the story of a group of brave firemen who will do everything in their power to stop a deadly raging fire from spreading.

After an oil pipeline in Harbin Harbour exploded, the oil flowing through a gigantic tank catches fire, igniting the tank and triggering a series of unrelenting explosions that threaten over eight million lives in the city.

A group of emergency firemen were activated, embarking on the deadly mission knowing there is a possibility they might never return home.

Here are some stills and posters from the movie that will give you goosebumps!
