Back To The 80s At Suncheon Drama Film Set
K-drama lovers, look no further! This is one place you definitely not want to miss. Go retro with your photos at the Suncheon Drama Film Set. This film set serves as the filming ground for many Korean dramas and movies set in the 1960s to 1980s, such as Song Joongki and Park Boyoung's A Werewolf Boy, Yoon Siyoon and Joo Won's Baker King Kim Tak-goo, and Han Jimin and Nam Joohyuk's The Light In Your Eyes.
Check out this insta-worthy photoshoot location below!
Divided into three areas, 1950s - 1970s daldongne slums, 1960s Suncheon city, and 1980s downtown Seoul, the film set is the largest in South Korea with over 200 buildings. Although most of the interior are not decorated, the street scenes of the filming ground serves as amazing backdrops for pictures ?
The best part about this film set is that you can rent high school uniforms reminiscent of the 1980s for 2500won (~SGD 2.90) an hour. Relive your Sailormoon dreams here ?There are some eateries around the set that may look like they are part of the old school decor but they are actually selling food! Try ppopgi (an old-school sugar candy) while you are there!
