Star Vista Beauty In The Pot Offers New Seasonal Hearty Shrimp Broth

West-siders, rejoice! Beauty in The Pot just opened a new outlet in The Star Vista. In conjunction with the opening, the restaurant is collaborating with sister restaurant Le Shrimp Ramen to launch an exclusive seasonal Hearty Shrimp Broth for a limited time only.

Here's a first look at the new Instagram-worthy outlet and the limited edition shrimp broth!

The Outlet

The outlet already looked impressive as we saw it from afar. The storefront was designed in a luxurious Art Deco style but with a modern twist of Tiffany blue and exuberant red.

As we entered the main entrance, we were greeted by this giant pink teddy bear ?

There is even a small playground for customers with kids from 5 to 12 years old to play while waiting to enter the restaurant!

Private rooms are provided for large groups and families for a more intimate dining session. You now know where to go for your next family meet up or girls night out!

Staying true to the Art Deco theme, the restaurant is no short of photo op backdrops with the hanging lamps, booth seats and tinted mirror walls.

The Food

The most important component of a steamboat is definitely the broth! We tried the limited edition Hearty Shrimp Broth and the Signature Beauty Collagen Broth (Single pot from $14; Twin pot from $18 each; Quart pot from $5 each). The Hearty Shrimp Broth was rich with flavours and even had clams added in it for the extra sweet seafood taste. The Signature Beauty Collagen Broth was less heavy on the palate and goes well with the meats.

We were spoilt for choice with the many ingredients that Beauty in The Pot offers! The ingredients were all very fresh and prepared with care.

The Signature Homemade Fish Tofu ($2.20 each) is a must-try! In addition to the uber cute fish design, the tofu itself was smooth and goes very well with the different broths available as it is light on the palate. The Fried Beancurd Skin (half portion $5, full portion $10) is made in-house and also matches well with the different broths as it soaks up the flavours easily.

Be sure to try the Yuzu Slushie, which was very refreshing after a heavy meal.

The Hearty Shrimp Broth will be made available exclusively at The Star Vista outlet from 6 to 31 July.
