Billionaire cum reality TV star Kylie Jenner recently revealed her skincare line, Kylie Skin. Guess what? Our jaws are dropping because the products are dipped in a gorgeous millennial pink and everything is priced under USD30 (SGD40)!
As if Kylie's afraid no one's going to buy it, they went a few hundred steps ahead and made the products cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, sulfate free, paraben free and dermatologically-tested! ? *mindblown*
Kylie first teased the launch of Kylie Skin in a video on 11 May before revealing the rest of the products and their pricing. Scroll along for more deets!
Here's what the collection entails
- Foamy Face Wash (USD24)
- Walnut Face Scrub (USD22)
- Vanilla Milk Toner (USD22)
- Serum (USD28)
- Face Moisturizer (USD24)
- Eye Cream (USD20)
Those who are looking to try the full set (of six products) can also purchase it for USD125 (SGD171.24~). The set comes in this pink, minimalist and 'clean' packaging which in our opinion, speaks volumes for a skincare brand. We can't wait to try the products for ourselves!
Now that we've seen how the products look like, let's dive into a couple of key products and find out what they are about. Who knows? They might be able to join you in your skincare routine.
# Walnut Face Scrub (USD22)
According to Kylie, this fragrance-free product is her secret to a fresh face.
Made up of squalane, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, fruit and ginseng extracts and of course, fine walnut powder, this face scrub is here to strengthen and restore your skin's moisture barrier while keeping it balanced.
Apart from that, the ginseng extracts used here are also said to be able to help energise the skin while the fruit extracts and fine walnut powder helps to exfoliate.
Tip: To be used 2-3 times a week
# Foamy Face Wash (USD24)
This product is said to be able to remove almost every trace of makeup while leaving the skin replenished.
Made up of kiwi seed oil, glycerin, plant-based cleansing agents and sodium hyaluronic acid, this product is here to moisturise, hydrate and brighten our skin. The glycerin contents can also help us balance the moisture in our skin, keeping it plump and healthy-looking.
# Vanilla Milk Toner (USD22)
For a start, this vanilla milk toner is alcohol-free, which is a plus for ladies with dry to sensitive skin.
Similar to other products in the line, it is also made up of squalane, a key content to support and balance moisture in our skin. Other ingredients include avocado oil, apricot kernal oil and apple fruit extract to restore hydration, soothe and soften skin.
P/s: It's lightly fragranced
Besides these face scrubs and toners, Kylie Skin has also come up with their very own makeup removing wipes that cost a steep USD10 for just 30 wipes.
Fans (and the general public) have taken to Instagram to express their unhappiness at the price and even compared it to drugstore brands that are cheaper and proven to work. Would you pay USD$10 to try these Kylie Skin wipes? ?
Besides the set that will be going live during its launch on May 22, Kylie Skin is also putting these travel packs (without the products) up for sale at USD22 that can carry the full-sized products.
Kylie Skin to release personalised skincare in next drop
While Kylie Skin is debuting with a skincare range friendly for all skin types, Kylie Jenner has also shared that she is working on a "personalised skincare" that would cater to ladies with "acne-prone skin, dry skin, congested skin (and) oily skin."
Kylie Skin will be launching on ? May 22 so fans of Kylie Jenner and skincare enthusiast, mark your calendars ?
