Huawei Just Unveiled Its P30 & P30 Pro And Here's What You Need To Know About It

It is official. Huawei's latest P30 and P30 Pro will give DSLRs a run for their money.

In a global press conference held in Paris on 26 March 2019 at 9pm SGT, Huawei unveiled their latest addition to the P series. We hope you are ready because they are not kidding when they said they are here to Rewrite The Rules.

Available in three colours namely Breathing Crystal, Aurora and Black, the P30 Series is Huawei's most advanced camera smartphone to date.

We do not want to bore you with the tech specs so here's what you need to know about the P30 Series in a nutshell
- It is the world's first quad Leica smartphone camera
- It redefines all the low light photography rules you have ever known
- Its video mode can let you enjoy a wide or zoom dual view mode
- It has an upgraded selfie camera of 32MP
- Enjoy a digital zoom up to 50 times (though it will not be crystal clear)
- The P30 and P30 Pro have an ISO rating of 204,800 and 409,600 respectively
Our favourite part? Huawei has rewritten the rules of photography with its SuperSpectrum RYYB sensor, a revolutionary sensor that would tap on a yellow sensor to absorb both blue and red rays of light instead of just one colour as commonly done by traditional RGGB sensors.

P30 Series To Launch In Singapore On 6 April

The P30 is set to be priced at SGD$998, while the P30 Pro will be going for SGD$1,398. They will be launched island-wide from 6 April at all Huawei Concept Stores, local telco operators, selected consumer electronic stores, authorised mobile retailers and selected online marketplaces such as Lazada.

On the same launch date, there will also be a sales launch event at VivoCity, Central Court at level 1. From 10am to 10pm, customers will receive a premium gift set (worth up to S$470) with every purchase of the Huawei P30 or P30 Pro.
