A Pokémon X Adidas Collaboration Is In The Works And We Are Beyond Hyped!

German sportswear company Adidas has another collaboration in the works again and this time, it is teaming up with Pokémon! Pokémon started out as a video game in 1996 and evolved into an anime series not long after, eventually becoming one of the most popular Japanese franchise in history. More than two decades later, Pokémon is still as popular as ever, so you can tell that we are absolutely beyond hyped after news of this possible collaboration dropped this week.

Photo sneaks have been released on Instagram by user @hugokickz. The photos showcase two Adidas Stan Smiths in its usual crisp and clean white hues. Spotting two colourways like yellow and blue, each pair will represent Pikachu and Squirtle. Both pairs will feature illustrations of their respective Pokémon characters throughout the upper, as well as a cute embroidered patch on the medial side.

We aren't sure if the collaboration will be entirely based on the Stan Smith but we are crossing our fingers that it will be as the Stan Smith silhouette is the perfect base for such an iconic collaboration.
