Sanrio Japan Just Launched A New Series Of Cute Neko Plushies Featuring My Melody, Little Twin Stars & More
2019 has been an eventful year so far with many giant companies collaborating with one another launching cute products of our favourite characters.
One of our favourites has got to be Sanrio. Be it with Converse, McDonald's or even convenient stores such as 7-Eleven, every collaboration is a success and it is unlikely that we will ever get sick of them. Right?
If you are a Sanrio fan, you would be thrilled to know that Sanrio Japan has just launched the cutest neko ('cat' in Japanese) plushies and popular characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll. Let's check them out together!
# My Melody
Who knew that the sweet white rabbit would look this cute as a neko?! We totally wouldn't mind if she remains a cat. Meoww.
The cute My Melody has also adopted a sweet yellow ribbon on her back. What a change!
# Hello Kitty
Yeah, we know she was born a cat but it's always refreshing to see her take on a new outfit once in awhile. Not sure about you, but we are loving this lavendar neko onesie on Hello Kitty!
Similar to My Melody, this Hello Kitty neko plushie also comes with a cute ribbon on her back as the finishing touch.
# Little Twin Stars (Lala)
Everyone's favourite angels who were born on Omoiyari Star travelled a long way to Earth to learn how to be the shiniest stars.
We bet they never knew there would be a day when they would actually turn into nekos :P
# Little Twin Stars (Kiki)
Here's the other angel who have landed on Earth and transformed into a cute blue neko!
# Pompompurin
Do you know that Pompompurin is actually a golden retriever?! Besides his love for collecting shoes, he also loves drinking milk and eating caramel pudding made by his mum! So cuteeee.
Fun fact: He would never leave his house without his brown beret!
# Cinnamoroll
If you've always wondered what Cinnamoroll really is, look no further. He is a chubby puppy born on a cloud far up in the sky and his trademark long ears help him to fly.
Though he was born a puppy, we wouldn't mind bringing him home as a cat because he's definitely still a cutie *heart eyes emoji*
Which fluffy character would you love to bring home?
While they are not available in Singapore at the moment, you can always check it out on the official Sanrio website here (if you understand Japanese) or get a traveller to bring it back for you. Good luck! ;)
