Lately, McDonald's Japan has been on a roll when pushing for new strawberry-flavoured dishes on its menu.

Then, came the Strawberry Matcha Frappe which was a recent addition to Japan’s McDonald’s dessert menu. Available since this October, the mouth-watering Strawberry Matcha Frappe is a heavenly blend of matcha and sweet strawberries.

The drink includes strawberry pulp and strawberry whipped cream, cleverly balancing out the bitterness of Uji matcha that was carefully sourced from Kyoto.

And we thought that was it. We were wrong.

McDonald's Japan recently announced a new addition to their dessert menu and they have been teasing fans repeatedly with the image below:

And the surprise is, it’s no other than the Strawberry Chocolate Triangle!

The Strawberry Chocolate Triangle comes in the form of a crispy pie crust filled with a generous amount of rich chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce has tiny strawberry granules, which adds another layer of sweetness, making it extremely fragrant and delightful.

Enticed by the Strawberry Chocolate Triangle? This delectable treat has already been launched on 12 December.  If you happen to be in Japan during the holiday season, don't miss out on this yummy dessert. Know anyone travelling to Japan soon? Share this with them!
