Joanne Peh Gets Into Car Accident While On Her Way To The Set Of New Drama

In the morning of 26 Sept 2018, 35-year-old actress Joanne Peh got into a four-car collision with the vehicle she's in being caught in the middle.

Joanne was sent to National University Hospital (NUH) in an ambulance immediately and her parents, brother and manager from The Celebrity Agency rushed down to visit her. Though her husband Qi Yuwu is busy filming in China and couldn't make the trip back to visit her, he's being constantly updated on the situation.

In a statement released through her manager, Joanne said:

"Thank you everyone for your concern. Fortunately, it was the car that suffered the worst damage. The airbag wasn't even deployed so aside from minor pain in my neck and waist, there are no severe injuries."

In a separate update from Joanne's manager, Joanne is fine and has been discharged following a full-body check-up with doctor's orders to rest for two days.

Joanne Peh is currently in the midst of filming for Channel 8's new drama Heart to Heart.
