It's time to call all your lunch khakis. This one place is a popular lunch (or anytime really) place to go to for a cheap good fix. This spoon-licking Thai food is so delish and cheap that you wouldn't mind queuing up. #truestory
Took Lae Dee literally means 'cheap and good' in Thailand. It is no wonder they kept the price low. You can get minced chicken/pork rice for as low as $3.80! They opened their first overseas outlet here in Singapore earlier this year in May.
Pad Krapow (Minced Chicken/Pork) Rice At $3.80
But really, how can you give up on the egg? Add an egg at $1.20!

Add Kang Gong (or Thai Morning Glory) at $5.00 for a big plate. You can share this with your friends and divide the cost. You know how important kang gong is for every Singaporean, especially sambal kang gong!

But note, the chilli at Took Lae Dee is not a joke, it is really spicy.
Warning: Request for no spice, less spice or chilli on the side for the full foodie enjoyment if you have a low tolerance for spice. If not, you'd be cursing and crying at the end of the meal.
Enjoy this plate of Thai goodness at Tai Seng MRT!
Location: 18 Tai Seng Street #01-34/35/K9, Singapore 539775
Take the exit that lead you to 18 Taiseng. After tapping out, take the escalator up to level 1. You will see huggs coffee. Then make a right turn. Tadah~
Every dish is prepared freshly when you order, they don't mass cook. The waiting time after ordering is about 5minutes. This is one shop we're always excited to try. Enjoy and share with your friends!
