In the mood for a romantic date or chill meal outdoors, but don't want the hassle of packing and cleaning up a picnic from scratch? For just one month only, Park Side by PS.Cafe will do all the work for you!

Located within the lush Botanic Gardens, the Western restaurant has launched a new Rent-A-Picnic experience that's perfect for couples, friends, and families looking to spend a relaxing afternoon at the park. Simply pick up your picnic basket of choice from the restaurant, find a cosy spot on the lawn, and enjoy a leisurely feast without any fuss!

What's more, the launch coincides with Park Side's National Day specials, featuring two limited-time dishes inspired by beloved Singaporean flavours.

Here's what you can order from the Rent-A-Picnic menu:

The Cosy Two ($70) is the most value-for-money option for couples. It comes with your choice of 1 nibble, 2 mains, an iced tea jug, plus a picnic mat, basket and thermal flask with four-hour rental.

If you'd like to elevate your date with some wine, go for the Wine & Wander ($136). You'll get 1 nibble, 2 mains, and a bottle of either Sileni Sauvignon Blanc or Yalumba Y Series Pinot Noir, along with the same picnic essentials.

Planning a gathering with friends or family? The Lawn Party ($140) serves a larger group with 2 nibbles, 4 mains, an iced tea jug, plus the picnic mat, basket and thermal flask for four hours.

The menu includes nibbles like Salt & Vinegar Chips and Hurry Curry Chicken Bites, while mains range from Tamarind Hot Honey Chicken Burger and Bak Chor & Bacon Udon to Spiced Fish & Chips and Beef Lasagna.

Just need somewhere comfortable to sit while enjoying your own homemade spread? Opt for the Park Sidekick ($20), which includes a picnic mat and basket rental for four hours.

National Day specials with a local twist

If you're dining at Park Side before heading out onto the lawns, or ordering these as part of your picnic, you'll also be able to try two National Day-exclusive dishes available throughout August.

The Otah Quiche ($28) gives the classic French bake a Singaporean makeover with a seafood medley of prawns, clams, squid and fish folded into an otah-inspired egg custard.

Meanwhile, the Lor Bak Eggs Benedict ($26) is a playful brunch twist on a familiar hawker favourite which swaps out the usual ham for soy-braised pulled pork on toasted sourdough.
