Missing the iconic Bakery 1946 outlet at Suntec City, where you used to find those viral K-Apple Breads? Well, fans of Korean bakeries can rejoice once more, because Noci Bakehouse has opened at the very same spot! If Noci sounds familiar, it's because the team behind this bakery is the same one running Noci Pasta Bar (#01-386), which is also located in the mall.

This new store offers a huge array of mouthwatering savoury and sweet breads, cakes, sandwiches, drinks, and even salads and soups.

The freshly baked goods are on the pricey side, averaging $6-12 per piece. But the portion sizes are all rather large, with one piece being more than filling enough for a quick bite or light lunch.

You'll also find trending Korean Butter Tteoks (butter rice cakes), which are all the rage on social media right now. These desserts look like regular madeleines, but feature a crispy exterior and chewy interior, earning them the moniker 'Korean Crispy Butter Mochi'.

Best of all, customers can choose to take away their purchases or dine in at the European-style bakery. The whole seating area is very aesthetically pleasing, complete with a barn-like, white-brick, cottagecore aesthetic that's reminiscent of cafes in Seongsu, Seoul. Perfect for those IG-worthy shots of your lunch date or girly tea time.

While we were here, we tried a selection of their most popular baked goods, plus the Apple & Walnut Garden Salad ($8.30), Mushroom Soup ($12), French Toast with Fruits & Banana Brûlée ($18), Iced Peanut Cream Latte ($7.5), and Iced Matcha Latte ($6.50).

That's not to say that takeouts don't come with any perks! Noci Bakehouse has the cutest takeaway boxes and paper bags, decorated with the brand's fluffy sheep mascot and barn motifs.

With this area of the mall frequently playing host to short-lived bakeries and cafes, we were wondering if this, too, would be a pop-up concept — but we've been informed that Noci Bakehouse will operate as a permanent store and is here to stay.

Bonus: the bakery is currently running a 1-Year Free Bread & Coffee, follow & win giveaway. Don't wait to join in on this—it'll be ending at the end of this month! Check this Instagram post for even more deets:
