15 Fun & Trendy Things To Do In Johor Bahru In 2025: Onsen Spa, Alpaca Cafe, Seaside Glamping & More
Heading across the causeway to Johor Bahru over the weekend could certainly qualify as one of the Great Singapore Pastimes (fingers crossed for no jams!). And besides the mandatory feasting and shopping spree, most of us also enjoy squeezing in an activity or two before returning home. Of course, the usual movie/massage/karaoke run still does a decent job at dealing out the R&R, but on days when you just want a little extra fun, keep this list handy!
Here's our list of 15 fun and exciting things to do in JB in 2025:
1. Take a dip in a Japanese-style onsen
Photo from 38°c Onsen Spa
Just because you're not visiting Japan doesn't mean you can't indulge in a pampering trip to an onsen. And no, it doesn't have to be overly pricey! 38°c Onsen Spa has two outlets open in JB, both offering warm, mineral-rich water (yes, they do run at exactly 38°c) where you can soak your worries away.

Guests can even get an Insta-worthy dessert platter served with their onsen experience, or opt to try on a kimono at this spa.

2. Hit some golf balls at a driving range (with a cafe!)

FYI: no cars are allowed on this driving range. It's a common sight on GolfTok, but for those who haven't ventured onto a course or even held a club in their lives, here's your chance to give it a swing. Rent a club (you can share with your group) and grab a bucket of balls, then start hitting them to your heart's delight. Once you're all tired out, pick up a cuppa and sit back to enjoy the view. Bonus: get there right before sunset to get a fantastic backdrop for your videos, or save it for a super-late night activity (it closes at 3am!)
