These Adorable Kids Are Dressing Like Their Fave Actors From 'Crazy Rich Asians'! We Love!
If you are one of the few who have been living under a rock too busy and haven't yet caught 'Crazy Rich Asians', then...YOU SHOULD. We love the hilarious antics of the raspy voiced Peik Lin (played by Awkwafina) and the sweet yet feisty Rachel Chu (Constance Wu). And apparently we aren't the only ones! These mothers loved the characters so much...they decided to dress their kids like their favourite stars from the movie too!

Mom and blogger Ha Truong from Miami, Florida, was so inspired by the movie that she decided to make matching costumes for her adorable daughter, Olivia.

The talented mother sews and designs all the costumes by herself. Amazing!
She dressed her daughter up in two costumes from the movie.
The iconic blue Marchesa dress that Constance Wu's character Rachel wears during the wedding and Peik Lin's loud and garish outfit.
The proud mother shared pictures of Olivia wearing the replica blue Marchesa gown on Instagram, where Olivia repeats Constance Wu's line: "Immigrant stories are the stories of dreams, of love, of sacrifice, of courage, of honor."
She looks so adorable don't you think?
Constance Wu, the leading actress of 'Crazy Rich Asians' was so impressed that she herself reshared the post on her own Instagram!
"Love this girl!"
Her lovely daughter is quite the fashionista too! And really great at posing.
Do we see another rising Asian star in the making?

Apart from Truong, we see the trend catching on as other creative and enthusiastic mothers start to dress their children up like characters from 'Crazy Rich Asians' too!
There's Mary Grace Pingoy, a professional photographer from Indiana, who dressed her son and daughter up too as Peik Lin (Awkwafina) and her father. (Ken Jeong)
As she quotes,
"So proud of this movie and what it means to celebrate the beauty of Asians around the world."
And we too are stoked to see how Asians like her do us proud with her stunning creativity and talent!
Her son, Jonah is the perfect likeness of Ken Jeong (Peik Lin's father) from the movie. From the clothes, to the hair, he makes a completely hilarious impersonation of the character!
These little kiddos have become mini celebrities and even producer Jon Chu was so amused and tickled by them.
Looks like the movie 'Crazy Rich Asians' isn't just entertainment for pure entertainment's sake but has opened up doors of opportunities and a world of endless possibilities for the Asian diaspora in America; giving them a voice...through fashion!
Anyone else keen on playing dress up now?
