BLACKPINK’s Rosé Announces Solo Studio Album, Set To Drop On 6 December 2024

BLACKPINK’s Rosé is hitting us with the DDU-DU DDU-DU because her solo studio album, Rosie, is officially on the way, and it's landing right before the holidays!

In an Instagram post, Rosé announced the exciting news along with a gorgeous album cover. It features a stunning close-up of the singer lounging. She captioned the post with her thoughts on the journey leading to this moment. "I cannot believe I am finally announcing my first album release to you all," she shared.

"I fell asleep many nights feeling confused and lost. But with the support of my dear friends and family, my team, and of course my number ones, I am sat here today excited to announce the date of my album release." She revealed that Rosie will drop on 6 December via Atlantic Records. "I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie – is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me."

And yes, she confirmed what BLINKs have been waiting to hear – it’s a full-length album!

According to the press release, Rosé co-produced and co-wrote the 12-track album, calling it her "most personal and candid" work so far.

Just recently, Rosé was spotted attending Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week SS25 show.

However, Rosé isn't the only BLACKPINK member dropping new singles! Her bandmate, Lisa, has been keeping busy too. She recently collaborated with Rosalia on New Woman and announced a new song called Moonlit Floor at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City. That track will officially drop on 3 October 2024.
