Kim Soo-hyun To Star In Disney+’s 2025 Crime Drama 'Knock-Off'

New K-drama alert!

Kim Soo-hyun and Jo Bo-ah are set to star in Knock-Off, a new Disney+ original drama premiering in 2025.

Kim Soo-hyun, famous for his roles in Queen of Tears, Moon Embracing the Sun, and My Love from the Star, will take on the lead role of Kim Sung-jun. Joining him is Jo Bo-ah, who’s made her mark in Tale of the Nine Tailed and Military Prosecutor Doberman. Together, they’re bringing this exciting new series to life.

The story follows Kim Sung-jun (Kim Soo-hyun), whose life takes a dramatic turn after the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, also known as the 'IMF Crisis.' After losing his job, he dives into the underground world of counterfeit luxury goods. With his sharp instincts, he quickly rises to become the global king of knock-offs.

Jo Bo-ah plays Song Hye-jung, Kim Sung-jun's ex-girlfriend, who’s now a tough cop on the counterfeit crackdown team.

The drama's script is written by Han Jung-hoon, who also penned Song of the Bandits and 38 Task Force. Directing is Park Hyeon-seok, who has worked on Song of the Bandits and Stranger 2.
