Big news for aespa fans! Karina, the leader of the k-pop girl group, will take on a leading role in Mnet’s MY ARTi FILM. This new project will showcase Karina’s talents in a fresh way, moving her from the music scene to the big screen.

The K-pop star will act alongside Lee Dong-hwi, known for his role in Reply 1988.

Mnet’s My ARTi FILM stands out by showcasing artists in a new light. Every week, the show features them acting out scenes from different genres, including romance, comedy, and thrillers. The dramatic staging makes each performance feel like a mini-movie, allowing idols to showcase their talent to the audience and fans.

Karina is set to dive into an exciting noir action role, where she'll play a bold and independent character taking on a tough boss.

The 24-year-old K-pop star shared her excitement about this new acting gig, saying, “It was a blast stepping into the lead role of a noir action film, something I usually just watch.” She added, “I hope everyone will enjoy this new side of me and look forward to it.”
