Get Ready To Be Changed For Good As WICKED The Musical Is Soaring Back To Singapore In 2025
Of all the biggest musicals on Broadway, WICKED has defied gravity as one of the most long-running and popular shows in history. And with the upcoming film adaptation starring Ariana Grande, the hype and buzz around it is set to get even bigger. Right on cue, WICKED the musical is returning to Singapore and is set to open in March 2025 at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.
Set in the Land of Oz before Dorothy's arrival, WICKED tells the story of two young women. One is smart, fiery and misunderstood, and famously has green skin. The other is bubbly, blonde, ambitious and popular. As their relationship develops, the musical explores themes of identity, acceptance and the nature of good versus evil.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, WICKED has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. It has won over 100 major awards including the Grammy Award and Tony Awards, played in 16 countries around the world, and has been translated into six languages.
The WICKED musical showing in Singapore is an Australian production featuring musical staging by Wayne Cilento with original direction by Joe Mantello.
