Universal Studios Singapore Unveils New Details About The Upcoming Minion Land Opening In 2025

We can soon say bello to a Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) at Resorts World Sentosa. This Gru-vy new land will be themed after Illumination's Despicable Me and Minions franchise. Fans finally have more details about this highly anticipated attraction: multiple rides, an all-new carousel exclusive to USS, dance music remixed by the Minions, and a variety of themed retail and dining experiences.

Based on the newly released renderings, Minion Land at USS is set to resemble Minion Park in Universal Studios Japan, including fun photo ops of a courtyard fountain with Minions and a wildly popular motion simulator ride.

That said, we can expect some attractions that can only be found in USS! One of them is Buggie Boogie, the first-ever Minion dance party-themed carousel. Guests can hop aboard a fleet of space bugs and silly creatures and boogie to popular songs that have been remixed by the Minions, helmed by DJ Carl. Another USS-exclusive is Super Hungry Food Stand restaurant, a larger-than-film version of the waterfront snack stand from Despicable Me.

After passing through the gates of Minion Land, guests will land right in Super Silly Fun Land, the seaside carnival from Despicable Me where Gru and the girls had their momentous Fun Day. There will be rides, games and themed food in this colourful venue set against sweeping views of the lagoon.

Over at Gru's Neighbourhood, guests will find the home and lab of the former supervillain and his loyal horde of Minions. This is also where the crowd-favourite Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride will be.
