It's the National Day season, when we can expect local-inspired twists on menus across restaurants and cafes in Singapore. McDonald's is also joining the celebration with new menu additions inspired by hawker fare and Singaporean's favourite flavours.
The all-new Satay Burger (from $8.90 for an Extra Value Meal) gets two thumbs up from us for its rich, flavour-packed sauce complemented by onions and cucumber slices. It comes in two varieties: a chunky Beef patty and uber-tender Chicken.

Two fan-favourites - Crisscut Fries (from $4.70 a la carte) and Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Burger - (from $8.90 for an Extra Value Meal) are also making a comeback.
Wash that down with the Thai Milk Tea Frappé (from $4.70 a la carte), a drink that's beloved in Singapore. McDonald's rendition is not too sweet - exactly how we like it!
