We can always expect the most ornate mooncake boxes from Shangri-La Singapore and this year is no exception. The new leatherette mooncake box comes in a rounded shape to symbolise the full moon and the theme of reunion. Shangri-La's signature Peony flower is featured as intricate debossed patterns on the surface, and on the sides of the box are four drawers that open to reveal mooncakes.
The box is designed to be given new life and repurposed by anyone from the family after the festivities are over. Ladies can turn it into a jewellery box, kids can keep their toys and snacks organised in it, and older folks can use it to store small essentials like medication.

Lady M has outdone itself yet again this year with a mooncake box fashioned like a lantern. Year after year, the two Conrad hotels in Singapore have us swooning over their mooncake bags, and the duo has done it again. Conrad Centennial Singapore's Moonlit Opulence collection features mooncakes encased in a luxurious cream-coloured leatherette box or a limited-edition designer bag. Both are elegantly embellished with the hotel's signature peony motifs.
