‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Stars Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackson As Frenemies

Marvel's favourite frenemies are back in the official trailer for the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine — the third instalment in the Deadpool film series and the first set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Deadpool & Wolverine arrives almost six years following the launch of Deadpool 2. During this period, we witnessed the end of Fox's X-Men movie franchise, alongside Disney's full takeover of 20th Century Fox, which owned the rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four. This also marks the first MCU film for Fantastic Four.

In the newly released trailer, Deadpool & Wolverine fight to Madonna's 'Like a Prayer.' Check out the trailer below:

"I'm about to lose everything I've ever cared about," Deadpool tells Wolverine. Wolverine responds with a simple, "Not my f****** problem."

"Is that what you said when your world went to s***?" Deadpool asks, before Wolverine stab him in the groin and Deadpool shoots him in the torso.

The third film stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and marks the return of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, whom fans last saw die in the 2017 farewell movie Logan.

Before the trailer was out, Ryan Reynolds, who co-wrote and co-produced the movie, shared a video of the post-credits scene from Deadpool 2. It features Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Ryan took to X and said,“ It took seven years and a lot of begging but my Deadpool 2 end credit dreams finally came true,” He also shared the official movie poster, with the caption, "Hang it in the Louvre."

Shawn Levy directs the movie. Joining Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be in theatres 25 July 2024.
