Playing with colour in interior design can be little daunting, but IKEA's new TESAMMANS Collection makes colour look oh-so charming, you'll be tempted to bring in some dopamine decor to your home.
Designed in collaboration with design duo Raw Color, this limited-edition collection combines IKEA's home furnishing with Raw Color's unique aesthetic characterised by unexpected yet harmonious colour pairings, minimal shapes and graphic lines. The result is a visually pleasing line-up of furniture, textiles and home decor that look like expensive designer pieces, but with good ol' IKEA price tags!

Looks aside, the collection also has sensible design features suited to our tiny flats and condos. There are compact and multi-functional furniture pieces like the TESAMMANS side table ($69) and storage unit on castors ($129). The former works as a stool or side table and has storage space under the lid, while the latter is a portable side table with shelves and openings at varying heights that are accessible on all sides.

Other pieces, like the TESAMMANS lampshade ($35) wall clock ($19.90), serve a practical purpose while adding a whimsical flair to any room.

To go even more low-key with the pops of colour, you can't go wrong with drinkware! The TESAMMANS carafe ($24.90) and glasses ($16.90 for a set of 2) will inject just a teensy little personality to the kitchen.

If you're not ready to commit to colour, incorporate it with something easily swapped out like the TESAMMANS cushion cover ($7.90) and throw ($29.90). These gorgeous textiles come in the same quirky colour combinations along with eye-catching graphic lines.
