The Highly Anticipated CRYBABY X The Powerpuff Girls Collection Is Launching At POP MART Singapore This March

Kudos to The Powerpuff Girls marketing team. They know the power of nostalgia for 90s kids and the love of Y2K trends for Gen Z-ers, and they're readily feeding us collab products that we're equally eager to acquire. The latest one that has been making a stir on social media even before its release date announcement is POP MART's CRYBABY X The Powerpuff Girls collection.

Created by Thai artist Molly Yllom, CRYBABY is one of POP MART's most popular characters. As its name implies, these are weeping, infantile characters with dramatic 3D tears and pouting facial expressions. Although CRYBABY always appears sad and in tears, it's a somewhat endearing and comforting sight.

This sad aesthetic is a perfect complement to The Powerpuff Girls characters, as seen with the CRYBABY X The Powerpuff Girls Series Figures. The collection features characters including the superhero trio, Professor Utonium and Mojo Jojo, and everyone looks adorably miserable!

These figures will launch online and at POP MART Stores in Singapore on 8 March. They'll be available progressively at these outlets:

As a special treat, shoppers have a chance to meet the CRYBABY creator herself, Molly Yllom, at an exclusive Meet and Greet Session in Singapore at the Plaza Singapura POP MART store on 23 March. For a shot at winning an autograph pass for her signing session, simply purchase two pieces from the CRYBABY X The Powerpuff Girls Series Figures from any POP MART store or popmart.sg for 1 draw entry to the autograph pass lucky draw, limited to 3 entries per person. If it feels like something's missing, it's because this collaboration still has a slew of other merchandise including phone charms, phone cases, cups and more. This line-up was teased on POP MART's international socials, but there's no word on whether they will be available in Singapore.
