Maison Margiela & Gentle Monster Have Collaborated To Create New Temple-Less Designs, Leather-Wrapped Frames & More
The new Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster collection sees the two uncompromisingly creative fashion houses join hands again for their second eyewear collaboration set to launch on 7 March. Comprising of 17 genderless designs, the line-up features dreamy and futuristic designs including a new temple-less silhouette.
Maison Margiela's signature white stitching appears on the sides of the acetate frames, which come in signature colourways including black, white, grey, cream, transparent and tortoiseshell. This collection also sees the addition of new leather-framed editions in black, ivory, khaki and blue nuances.

What's even more intriguing is the temple-less eyewear that stay on the face without resting on the ears or sides of the head. Conceived by Creative Director John Galliano, these futuristic- yet organic-looking eyewear pieces are moulded to wrap around the contours of the eyes and nose. The temple-less MM101 and MM102 are exclusively presented in silver Glam Slam eyewear cases, while other frames come in white cases.
